It’s not quite that easy to say what the colour of the new Simmel Center in the heart of Dresden is: the facade is composed of multicoloured matt and glossy aluminium panels coated in all colours of the spectrum, which shimmer all the shades of the rainbow depending on how the light falls: a lustrous sight for anyone passing by on the train or in a car.
