When Georg Spörl founded therma- Fensterbau GmbH together with Lothar Horn in 1978, nobody could have imagined that we would develop into one of the most successful window construction companies in the region in the years that followed.

The company founder and managing partner Georg Spörl was able to gain extensive experience in window construction while working for our profile system provider GEALAN. He recognized the market opportunities for PVC-U windows at an early stage.

Lothar Horn contributed his knowledge as an accountant in the industry and together they expanded the window construction company therma to its current size.

With Stephan Horn and Jochen Spörl, the sons of the managing directors, the second generation joined the company at the end of the 1980s, thus ensuring therma's future viability. The two juniors are now successfully running the family business.
