Industrial history and modern living meet in the Maria Juchacz senior citizens' home in Mittweida: the new building (2019) was founded on the site of the former laundry union founded in 1828.
It is deliberately reminiscent of the factory's venerable past with its clinker brick façade. The senior citizens' home combines accessible lifestyle and residential living in old age, day care and medical care under one roof. The four-storey building has 34 modern flats with loggia or terrace on three floors.
With the S 9000 window system in acrylcolor 7016 (anthracite grey), the senior citizens' home focuses on a modern appearance and at the same time on living comfort - because even in its barrier-free design, S 9000 achieves top sealing values against wind and rain.
