Located in the centre of the Tyrolean capital is the Hotel Ramada Innsbruck Tivoli, which opened in December 2011. The building looks out over a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains and the world-famous Bergisel ski jump.
When it came to designing the windows, the mandatory sound protection requirements for hotels as well as increased protection against wind and driving rain had to be taken into consideration. Another criterion was the slanted windows on the front of the hotel. The solution was easy-to-clean and extremely tough acrylcolor windows.
A successful synthesis of historicism and modern architecture forms the new brewery complex with adjoining beer shop. The cubic and very clearly structured new build in terms of form is an addition to other properties on the former firing range for the Czech army. The resulting lightness benefits from the unique location with a view of the bordering Central Bohemian Uplands. The large windows contribute a large part of the overall impression of the complex, on the outside they are painted in the popular colour DB 703 and on the inside they are slate grey. With this building, the tradition of beer brewing is going back to its roots in a region with a substantial hop production.
The former royal seat of Oldenburg is today a university city and the economic and cultural centre of the north-western region of Lower Saxony. Thanks to investor funding, it now also boasts a medical and occupational rehabilitation centre with day centre as well as rehabilitation and occupational therapy facilities.
Modern living by the sea. In the town of L'HOSPITALET DE L'INFANT on the coast of Tarragona in Catalonia with its fishing port, this detached house in modern cubic design is situated just one kilometre from the sea.
