In the idyllic coastal town of Monster in the Netherlands, where the North Sea kisses the land, a new benchmark has been set for exclusive living. A residential complex with 250 condominiums that combines modern living standards with the charm of the historic coastal architecture of the early 1900s now enriches this community. The large windows and striking canopies, typical of that era, were lovingly integrated into the modern design by the architects and offer residents a light-flooded atmosphere and unrivalled views of the sea.
The advanced GEALAN S 9000 NL profile systems were used in the realisation of this visionary residential complex, with surfaces finished in GEALAN-acrylcolor® in the colour RAL 9001. The colour scheme, which is reminiscent of the warm white of sails in the sunlight, and the characteristic Vienna bars, which are the same colour inside and out, emphasise the picturesque country house style of the complex. The window systems not only fulfil aesthetic requirements, but have also been specially designed to meet the increased wind load requirements of the coastal location - a perfect example of how design and functionality can go hand in hand.
The new development in Monster is not just a home, but a statement of luxury coastal living characterised by quality, style and a connection to nature.
Six floors, over 10,000 square metres of space, 187 flats, 690 square metres of commercial space – the Magnolia residential quarter in the north of Leipzig is outstanding.
Pamplona, the charming capital of the Navarre region of Spain, is known far beyond its borders for its historical significance on the Camino de Santiago and its lively cultural scene, which attracted scholars and pilgrims from Europe as early as the Middle Ages. Through Ernest Hemingway's novel "Fiesta", the exciting bull chase in the narrow streets of the historic center became famous worldwide.
With a height of almost 50 m and a construction volume of 350,000 m3, the headquarters of the SALEWA mountain sports brand, completed in 2011, are a new landmark in the city of Bolzano. Designed by Milanese architects Cino Zucchi and Park Associati, the building reconciles the seeming contradiction between the pursuit of progress and innovation and promoting a relationship with Nature and environmental protection.
It’s not quite that easy to say what the colour of the new Simmel Center in the heart of Dresden is: the facade is composed of multicoloured matt and glossy aluminium panels coated in all colours of the spectrum, which shimmer all the shades of the rainbow depending on how the light falls: a lustrous sight for anyone passing by on the train or in a car.
