Digital International Future Forum 2021: Virtual event premiere exceeds expectations

More than 1000 participants registered for the first Digital International Future Forum by GEALAN. An average of around 400 visitors attended the eight specialist talks in 13 languages. The virtual GEALAN exhibition spaces are also still very well attended.
A total of 15 experts – eight of them external specialists – made a crucial contribution to the success of the first Future Forum to take place digitally: On both days of the event, they offered relevant technical knowledge to over 1000 participants, drawing on many examples, and did this in a remarkably authentic and approachable way. What’s more, the talks and moderation at the Digital International Future Forum took place in 13 languages at the same time as they were simultaneously translated. This meant that all of the visitors could follow the experts’ explanations in their desired language. The visitor numbers demonstrate just how well received the talks were, in terms of content and organisation: An average of around 400 participants were dialled in at each of the eight talks over their entire duration.
In addition to the talks, it has also been possible to attend virtual exhibition spaces as part of the Digital International Future Forum. Selected system and product highlights and digital solutions from the company will be provided there up to and including 2 February, and can be experienced through text, images and video. The exhibition spaces are also available with multilingual signs.

Managing Director Ivica Maurović offered a brief outlook as he welcomed guests on the morning of the second day of the event: “We have learnt a lot when preparing and implementing this event. As soon as coronavirus allows us to do so, we will organise these events in a hybrid format; in other words, we will combine an on-site presence with digital talks for a wide audience.”
