GEALAN's Building Information Modeling data offering has once again convinced the jury: At the ARCHITECTS ́ DARLING Award® 2024, the GEALAN solution once again achieved a top ranking with 2nd place. With its award-winning BIM data, GEALAN is one of the pioneers in the planning method of the future in Germany's construction industry.
The series of successes continues: In the category "Best BIM Data Offer", the GEALAN solution is once again among the best-rated and wins silver at the ARCHITECTS ́ DARLING Award® 2024! For the 14th time in total, Heinze had searched for the best services, products and services in Germany within Germany's construction industry. After first places in each of the years 2020-2022 in the category "best BIM data offer", the GEALAN delegation was able to celebrate second place this time as part of the Celle Workday . GEALAN did not submit an application in 2023. The repeated top ranking confirms GEALAN's pioneering role in digital planning.
All companies in the construction industry throughout Germany were able to apply.
"If you are one of the very best in the whole of Germany four times at such a renowned event, then that cannot be a coincidence," says Özkan Arslan, Head of System Development, Application Technology and Digital Planning at GEALAN, pleased with the renewed award, "but then it is the result of meticulous and creative work." The award-winning BIM solution from GEALAN ultimately benefits all architects and planners, who want to make their daily work easier with the planning method of the future. "I would like to thank my team, which has been working intensively on the topic of BIM for many years and is constantly working on new possibilities. Because despite all the awards, we always want to get better."
When it comes to visual 3D modelling of windows and doors in buildings, GEALAN's excellent solution has an absolutely coherent overall package to offer.
With GEALAN's BIM offering, a realistic simulation with current products in various detail levels is possible. On the one hand, predefined but also freely plannable window and door elements of all types and shapes are available for this purpose.
To ensure that users do not have to leave their usual platform, the GEALAN solution can also be used via plug-in and add-on: With the Planner Software 3.0, architects and builders can generate window and door types from GEALAN profile systems in BIM format according to their wishes and use them via a Revit plug-in or an ArchiCAD add-on. And so that the architect does not experience any surprises during the tendering process: the technical feasibility of the desired project can be checked in advance with the GEALAN solution.
The external view of the buildings can also be displayed using GEALAN software, including the simulated windows and doors. In addition, the data of the 3D models has been optimized in size to ensure smooth applications at all times.
On top of that, the project structure was integrated into the planning software 3.0, as part of GEALAN's BIM solution. This greatly facilitates the exchange of information and geometric data among the participants. This holistic concept is embedded in a modern user interface: The planning and construction are simple, intuitive and can be implemented with even fewer clicks.

For around 30 years, GEALAN has been demonstrably committed to processes and products that are increasingly environmentally friendly and resource-efficient. With a newly created sustainability team, the initiatives are now to be bundled even better and introduced in a structured manner in all GEALAN business areas.
Modern windows bring more than daylight and fresh air into the interior of the building. With their well thought-out design, they skilfully combine the aspects of functionality, shape and colour. On the one hand, you optimize the energy efficiency in the building and protect the rooms from noise and burglary. On the other hand, windows with a simple design language set clear visual accents. And the colour scheme also plays a central role in windows that are trendy.
One of the main goals of modern interior design is to open up spaces, to find ways to optimize the use of natural light and to incorporate nature into everyday life. Large windows and sliding door systems help to achieve this.
