Many industry partners were guests at the GEALAN Entrepreneur Day 2025. The GEALAN ACADEMY had invited to the meeting in Oberkotzau, where a well-rounded programme of interesting lectures and good discussions awaited the almost 50 guests from the window industry.
Full house at the GEALAN site in Oberkotzau: Not only was the training room of the GEALAN ACADEMY filled to the last seat during the exciting presentations - the foyer was also noticeably alive for the GEALAN Entrepreneur Day 2025. In addition to the specialist presentations, a "mini-trade fair" with selected GEALAN products and services offered a nice starting point for industry guests from all over Germany. Networking was also not neglected over coffee and snacks.
The lecture series was put together with top-class speakers to form a well-rounded program:
GEALAN Managing Director Ivica Maurovic kicked off the event with an outlook on the challenges and opportunities of changing markets. The ground was prepared for the following presentations, in which new ways of thinking and working were stimulated. Eyleen Sinnhöfer, owner and managing director of the personnel marketing agency INTENT Brands and GEALAN HR Manager Michael Grüner gave the entrepreneurs valuable tips and insights to support them in the increasingly challenging search for skilled workers.
Kai Heddergott, communications consultant from Münster, then gave an overview of the development of common communication and social media tools, which have undergone noticeable change and changed acceptance over the last 20 years. For the guests of the GEALAN Entrepreneur Day, he had helpful tips in his luggage on which channels they should concentrate and with what effort and how they could also benefit from the support of artificial intelligence.
Nadine Siegemund and Michael Wunder from the Economic Development Department of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Upper Franconia Bayreuth started the afternoon. In their presentation, they reminded the entrepreneurs present to arrange the succession in their companies in good time, because a smooth handover requires a lead time of a good ten years in many cases. The first point of contact for such a topic is always the chambers (IHK and HWK), which can show an initial guideline and then refer it to other experts such as lawyers and tax consultants.
The conclusion of the lecture series then became loud and energetic: Armin Leinen, motivational and brand coach known in the industry, shook up in an inimitable way. His credo: Always put the customer and their wishes and requirements at the center of all activities. When asked which three most important points the audience should definitely take away and implement from his remarks, his telling answer was: "Inspire, inspire, inspire!".
So the Entrepreneur Day was a real highlight in the GEALAN ACADEMY calendar 2025!
