Before a new issue of GEANOVA can be distributed, there is a lot of work to be done: topics have to be researched, stories have to be worked out. Interviews take place on site, the conversations are filtered, structured and poured into texts. Until the great photos illustrating the stories are in the can, sometimes elaborate, hour-long shootings are necessary. Finding a suitable motif is one thing - the realisation requires creativity, both in front of and behind the camera. Here are a few insights into how the photos of GEANOVA #5 were taken.
